CAMDEN COUNTY, NJ — Small businesses in Camden County will share in $20 million worth of federal grants amid the coronavirus pandemic, local officials announced Wednesday afternoon. The county has received federal funds from the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act to assist struggling businesses during the coronavirus pandemic. The funding is for both profit and nonprofit organizations, and priority will be given to businesses that have not received state or federal funding already.

The New Jersey State AFL-CIO today announced endorsements for U.S. President, U.S. Senator and 12 U.S. Representatives from New Jersey, and 45 rank-and-file union members running for county and local offices throughout the state.

The largest union of nurses and healthcare workers has announced the candidates they are endorsing in Federal, State and Local races. The endorsement comes after an extensive review of the candidates’ positions and an endorsement was bestowed upon those who expressed or have shown a commitment to supporting the rights of healthcare workers and improving patient safety.
